I've been going to Strawberry Fair since I was a child, on and off, depending upon independence and, er, the legalities of it taking place at all. A folk festival that embraces alt frolicking in the sun, with stalls crammed with hippy delights, music, random acts, storytelling and poetry. Last years performance went well, if a bit nervous, and I have to say I'm really looking forward to jamming again. Bring your family and get your face painted, or come with chums and drink some beer. It's foolish not to.

It's been awhile since I've felt well enough to get out and do a reading, so this is a little bit significant to me. More so, given the troubles that haunt my days recently. The venue is beautiful, the river running close, and Fenspeak always has good performances. So come, rest, drink, enjoy.
